I've been painting since childhood. Growing up in Oklahoma, I always admired the beauty and mystery of the thunder clouds that would move in across the plains. It is natural that I became a landscape painter and that a large part of my work focuses on the power and beauty of God's creation. Trips to Santa Fe, NM as well as Oxford, England expanded my subject matter.

....Another major segment of my work, probably what I'm best known for, are the clouds, thunderheads, and sunsets of the plains and northern plains. A trip through Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Minnesota were great help in finding new subject matter.
